What is Concreo®?
Brief Product Description
Concreo® identifies a range of panels with refined aesthetic qualities. It enables the creation of objects or claddings that perfectly replicate the appearance of cast concrete, while offering a level of workability that revolutionizes the use of concrete in high‑end design and interior furnishings.

COMPOSITION AND APPLICATIONS

Concreo® is an eco‑compatible treatment applied to finished, ready‑to‑use panels, giving them an appearance entirely similar to cast concrete. The finish is obtained from a blend of mineral and acrylic components classified as non‑hazardous, in full compliance with current regulations. Depending on the intended application, the version of Concreo® that best meets the project requirements is selected.

Concreo® is intended as a non‑structural material for interior design: wall cladding, furniture cladding, ceilings, scenography, design objects, and other uses compatible with its technical characteristics.

With specific substrates and suitable protective treatments, Concreo® can also be used outdoors (MAG and FIB versions), subject to a strict evaluation by the manufacturer’s Technical Office regarding the conditions of use.

The excellent qualities of the panel may lead users to employ Concreo® in ways not explicitly prescribed by the technical data sheets or the manufacturer’s technical support for each model in the range. In such cases, the user assumes full responsibility for the chosen application.

CONCREO® FEATURES

  • High load‑bearing capacity for suspended elements, using substrates with excellent nail, screw, anchor, and standard hardware retention.
  • Excellent sound insulation when used with high‑density substrates, ideal for improving acoustic comfort in large or noisy environments, particularly in the Gyp and MAG versions.
  • High thermal insulation properties when used with suitable bases, contributing to comfortable indoor climates, especially in the Gyp and MAG versions.
  • High surface resistance to mechanical stress, thanks to the homogeneous structure of the panels throughout their thickness, particularly in the MAG, MDF Nob, and Slim versions.
  • Available with fire‑resistance certification class B‑s1,d0 (Gyp version, Class 1 for MAG version).
  • Dimensional stability in very humid environments or in the presence of significant temperature variations, without volumetric expansion.
  • Eco‑compatible finish, allowing disposal as domestic, wood, or standard construction waste, provided local regulations are respected.

Thanks to its properties, Concreo® panels are ideal for highly versatile interior design applications: furniture, counters, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, scenography, lighting objects, design pieces, and countless other uses continuously explored by designers.

BASICS AND FORMATS

Concreo® is available in the following versions:
Concreo Gyp: For interior use, developed on a high‑pressure gypsum‑fiber substrate. Standard thickness: 12.5 mm Panel sizes: 1250×2540 mm and 1250×3000 mm Also available in 10 mm and 18 mm thicknesses. Perfect for high‑end wall cladding.

Concreo Mag: A magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride–based panel, fire‑resistant in class A1 and stable under water immersion when properly protected. Ideal for high‑quality wall cladding and furniture construction, including outdoor applications. It resists corrosion and deterioration caused by insect infestation.

Wood and drywall self‑tapping screws can be applied directly to the panel with excellent holding performance. The panels can be machined through their thickness, including routing and 45‑degree cuts, or according to project requirements.

Available in 4, 6, and 10 mm thicknesses, with sheet dimensions of 1220×3050 mm.

Concreo Slim: a 1 mm flexible HPL‑based panel, size 1300×3050 mm. Extremely practical for curved surfaces and for cladding furniture structures with a perfect, lightweight cast‑concrete effect
